INSTALLING  THE TREMETRICS RA500 AUDIOMETER

INSTALLATION WITHOUT CONNECTING IT TO A SOUND ROOM

 1.        Connect the power cord to the rear power receptacle located on the back of the audiometer.

2.        Plug the power  cord into an appropriate 120 vac outlet.

3.        Connect the audiometer headphones by inserting the plug of the headphone cord  into the jack on the back of the audiometer labeled  PHONES.

4.        Connect handswitch  by inserting the plug of the handswitch into the jack on the back of the audiometer labeled HANDSWITCH.

 BE SURE THAT ALL CORDS ARE PUSHED FULLY INTO THE JACKS AND PROPERLY SEATED.

  INSTALLING THE TREMETRICS RA500 AUDIOMETER FOR USE WITH A SOUND ROOM

1.        Insert appropriate end of  the power cord into the audiometer power receptacle. It is located on the rear of the audiometer.

2.        Plug the other end of the  power  cord into an appropriate power outlet. Be sure that the power outlet is functioning.

3.        Insert one end of the fat 3 conductor patch cable into the rear of the audiometer into the  jack marked  PHONES which is located on the rear of the audiometer.

4.        Connect the other end of the fat 3 conductor patch cable to your outside booth jack by plugging it into any jack on the outside of your sound room.

5.        On the inside of your booth, opposite the jack used in step 4,  connect the headphones by inserting the headphone plug  into the sound room jack.

6.        Insert the plug of the thin 2 conductor patch cable into the audiometer jack marked HANDSWITCH,  which is located on the rear of the audiometer.

7.        Insert the plug on the other end of the thin patch cable to any jack on the outside of your sound room.

8.        On the inside of your booth, opposite the jack used in step 6, insert the handswitch plug.

 BE SURE THAT ALL CORDS ARE PUSHED FULLY INTO THE JACKS AND PROPERLY SEATED.
