Spirometer Data Switch

Medgate and OHM™ spirometer software modules require a data switch  to enable selection of direct spirometer printing or data transfer. In the Renaissance Printer position, the Data Switch enables the user to directly print from the Renaissance Spirometer.  In this position, data managed by the Renaissance II spirometer, including all efforts, curves, and analysis, is printed directly to the attached spirometer printer.

In the Medgate and OHM™ Software positions, data from the spirometer is directed to the computer for analysis and printing through their respective spirometry modules.

Spirometer Data Switch

The Data Switch provides a convenient mechanism for managing your spirometry results.  For OHM™ users, where only the best spirometry test is transferred for analysis, the Data Switch provides a convenient way to print all of the maneuvers, including the best test, for a given patient.

Connection to your spirometer and computer takes less than two minutes.

Spirometer Data Switch Rear

The Data Switch is shipped with a connecting cable for the Renaissance Spirometer. It plugs directly into the Renaissance II spirometer base station.  Your existing printer cable plugs into connector A, labled Ren II Printer.  Your existing computer cable, which is a special Renaissance II software cable, plugs into the B connector labeled Computer.
